HOMES FOR HEROES PROGRAM

TSAHC’s Homes for Texas Heroes Home Loan Program offers homebuying assistance specifically for teachers, police officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, correctional officers, and Veterans.

Advantages:

• Interest rate is fixed for 30 years 
• Loan Down Payment Assistance (LDPA) is given as a grant (no repayment needed) or a forgivable second lien loan
• DPA is available for up to 5 percent of the loan amount 
• First-time and repeat homebuyers eligible.
• Available anywhere in Texas
• Income limits apply by county. Expanded income and purchasing price limits are available in target counties.
